Join Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation and the Hopkinsville Fire Department for some summer fun this July! The fire trucks will be out each Tuesday of the month at various parks to turn on the hoses and get everyone cool. Don't forget to stop by the HPR tent to sign your waiver and get a wristband!

About the event
The Hopkinsville Fire/EMS Department and Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Department are teaming up to help the community cool down this July!
The Hoptown Hose Down partnership makes its way to different parks all through the month July. Each hose down event begins at 1:30 pm and lasts for one hour. The locations are as follows:
July 2nd - Joe Mumford Park July 9th - the Boys and Girls Club July 16th - Joe Mumford Park July 23rd - the Boys and Girls Club July 30th - Joe Mumford Park
Use of the extra truck and personnel from the Fire Department will not take away from any regular services provided or emergencies responded to by HFD/EMS.
There is no cost for children and families to enjoy the Hoptown Hose Down experience. This year's Hoptown Hose Down is sponsored by HWEA!
