Question: How do I make reservations for a park in Hopkinsville?

Question: What hours are the North Drive Community Center (formerly known as the Recreation Department) open?

 

Answer: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. till 4:30 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday, Closed

Weeknights and Weekends by Reservation Only

 

Question: How do I reserve a picnic shelter, meeting room, or gym?

 

Answer: Contact the Division of Parks & Recreation at 887-4290 or 800-909-9016. We have the Herb Hayes Pavilion at Ruff Park, the Tommy Gates Pavilion at Tie Breaker Park, two meeting rooms and the gym at North Drive Community Center. Deposits and rental fees apply. Visa and Master Card accepted. No alcoholic beverages are permitted at any of our facilities. (Deposits refundable with satisfactory clean-up and return of key.) Rental fees may be refunded, or a rain check given, at the discretion of the Parks and Recreation Office, on a case-by-case basis.

Tie Breaker Park Baseball/Softball Complex – 270-887-4290 (rainout information will be available unless the rain starts after 4:30 pm) or 270-887-4022 (after 4:30 p.m.)

Kenny Litchfield Park (Little League Baseball/Softball) – 270-885-6575 (for rain-outs)

Tie Breaker Family Aquatic Center – 270-890-0730

Question: Who do I contact regarding youth or adult sports leagues?

 

Answer: Youth Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer leagues are independently operated. Adult softball, volleyball, and tennis leagues are available. Contact the Division of Parks and Recreation at 270-887-4290 for additional information.


Question: Does the Division of Parks and Recreation offer childcare facilities?

 

Answer: No. However, we do offer a Summer Adventure Day Camp for children ages 6-13. Contact the Division of Parks & Recreation at 270-887-4290 for additional information.

 

 

Question: Does the Parks and Recreation Division rent equipment?

 

Answer: The Parks and Recreation Division rents a variety of athletic and sports equipment for a small fee.  If you rent one of our facilities, there is no charge to use our sports equipment. We do not rent tables and chairs.
