Ruff Park Features

Ruff Park has two shelters, 12 tennis courts, playground and open field which may be used for various sports.  For rental information, please contact the Division of Parks & Recreation at 1-800-909-9016 or 270-887-4290.

The two shelters are available for rent.  The Herb Hays Pavilion is located next to the playground and has a pit grill, picnic tables, electricity, running water, and restrooms.

There are 12 tennis courts.  The six upper courts are lighted.  Lights are available dusk til 10 pm.  There is no charge for the public to use these courts.  Please call the Division of Parks & Recreation if you have any questions regarding reserving these courts or the availability of these courts.

The playground is always open to the public and can not be reserved by a single group and/or persons.  The playground is open during daylight hours.

The open field may be used for various sports.  Please contact our office if you would like to reserve the field for your practice.

Next to Ruff Park is the Kenny Litchfield Complex which is home to the Hopkinsville-Christian County Youth League for Youth Baseball/Softball/T-Ball.  For information regarding their rain outs please call (270) 885-6575.  For information regarding their leagues, please contact Mike Blankenship at (270) 889-0286.
